Getting More Visitors
Though I constantly bash Twitter here, I have yet, until now try one of those get more follower bits. I already have 3,900 followers so it’s not like I’m begging for more, but this method was so easy…and free… I had to give it a shot.
Just go here: http://follopia.com/camp185
Fill in your info and then post your link that they give you. I have mentioned this link about three times now on my Twitter account, and it has already started kicking in. I don’t even do the recommended crap they suggest you do as well. Just do the minimum, and get that link out there. It’s a great landing page, so you will get others to follow you.
Do those followers actually read your tweets? Do any Twitter followers actually read your tweets? Who cares, just get a bunch of followers and brag about it.

As we all know Twitter was a micro blog website. Well no more. Mr. Biz from Twitter announced that they are now on the search for acquisitions. http://www.readwriteweb.com/archives/what_apps_should_twitter_acquire.php
So if you have a great product and are looking for someone to buy your company, look for Biz Stone on Twitter. I wouldn’t suggest actually going IN business with him though. Just sell.
Side note: Compete.com has US Twitter traffic down by half a million uniques a month for October. My forecast is starting to come true.

Twitter is Getting Desparate
Doh….Twitter is getting desperate. Just saw a link on the site to their team page: http://twitter.com/twitter/team. This must be the sad attempt to create a closer community. Love us, we are here. Keep coming back to our site, please…we will make investors mad if we fail. What a wonderful comical team. Twitter groups, I mean Twitter lists…a…good luck with that.
Twitter lists will just be another nail in the coffin. Users have already caught on that their followers don’t read many of their posts, and with lists you are just going to make it that much harder to follow or be followed.
All goes to my forecast of under 15 Million monthly users in the US by Jan. 2010.

I Know What is Next for Twitter
I know what is next for Twitter. I have been building websites for over a dozen years now. I have tracked all of their stats, and I know what is next when I see a graph like this.
Sites that constantly go up very rarely keep that trend. Even Google has it’s ups and downs. Well look at what Twitter has done. They went screaming up, leveled off, and can you guess what it next? A big down. Don’t be surprised if you see a big drop in numbers for this site. They are getting new users, but they are soon quitting when they see how much it sucks. Besides, you can do a lot more with a service like Friendfeed or Facebook. Sorry Twitter, you suck eggs. Can’t wait till the graph updates!

Will Twitter stay above 15 million visitors a month from the US by Jan, 2010? Maybe…

No, I’m not at the beach in Santa Cruz watching the whales swim by. I’m sitting at my desk in disbelief that Twitter is still displaying over capacity screens. Will they ever dump more money into their service? I know they keep getting investors, just recently got six big ones, but where is the money going?
I predicted on my main site that Twitter will never hit 50 million uniques a month from the U.S.. Judging by their support, the site can’t handle 24 million. So basically, If Twitter could have 50 million, they couldn’t support it. My prediction is currently fail safe.
